Workshops for Student Groups

CARE offers interactive workshops aimed at raising awareness of the dynamics of sexual harassment and sexual violence, including sexual assault, dating/intimate partner violence, and stalking, and building skills for healthy relationships, communication, boundary setting, and bystander intervention. Workshops are typically peer-led by trained CARE student staff and interns. Our current list of workshops include:

  • Healthy Sexual Communication & Consent: Recognizing components of affirmative consent and how to have healthy sexual communication
  • Building Healthy Relationships Through Boundary Setting: a workshop designed to explore and practice setting boundaries to build healthy relationships of all kinds
  • Preventing Violence as an Upstander: a workshop designed to increase knowledge about effective bystander intervention and build skills to intervene safely in high and low-risk situations
