Bio

Mackenzie found her passion in the field of victim and survivor advocacy during her postgraduate studies at CSU Monterey Bay. She completed a policy analysis that compared sex trafficking policies in three different countries, and it was during this analysis that her passion for advocacy was ignited. Most recently, she interned for Monterey County Behavioral Health and Christopher Elementary School in San Jose, providing counseling, therapy, and resources to students of all ages. She earned her Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) and a Suicide Risk-Assessment certificate through her studies and experience. Mackenzie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Health Science from Glenville State University and a Master’s in Social Work from California State University of Monterey Bay.

In her free time, Mackenzie plays competitive softball and spends time with her family. Mackenzie looks forward to making a difference and impact on the UC Davis campus and is excited about the collaborative community of UC Davis students, staff, and faculty.
